We are a Meetup group for those folks who are worn out by “wokeness” and the rapid rise of a new anti-scientific and anti-common sense orthodoxy.
We initially began as a Jordan Peterson Meetup Group, and of course JP himself was almost cancelled by his university colleagues, not because he was bad at his job, but because he held the “wrong opinions” and spoke out against enforced speech laws in Canada.
Have you yourself been cancelled or shut down because of your views, or have you found yourself censoring your own speech to avoid conflict, even with friends and family? …and not extreme views, but widely held and perfectly acceptable views until very recently?
Do you hear news stories like how 4-year-olds in Scotland can now self-identify as a different gender, and wonder if you are in an episode of “The Twilight Zone” or have woken up in an alternate reality?
Have you been asked to give your personal pronouns and found yourself squirming? Are you old enough to remember when there were only two genders? (By the way, this is not to demean anyone who is struggling with gender dysphoria).
We are not anti-anyone… we are Pro-Science, Pro-Truth, Pro-Common Sense! We want everyone to live their best life… but that doesn’t mean we have to abandon free speech and free thought.
