Whether of not you like or support President Trump, there IS a revolution taking place in America. For our March meetup, we will take a look at what is happening in the United States and what it means (if anything) for the United Kingdom.
Trump has been moving at lightning speed to undo much of what was put in place by Obama and Biden, leaving the Establishment in a daze. This is a very different Trump administration than his first term in 2016.
DEI/EDI and Woke ideology, which migrated to the UK from America, is being dismantled in the States. Will the same thing happen here? Governmental bureacracy and waste is now a target of Elon Musk, Trump’s “go to” guy. Could that also happen here… or is the Civil Service impenetrable?
There appears to be no love lost between Trump and Starmer. Vice-president Vance recently spoke in Munich about the lack of Free Speech in Europe. We are witnessing Brits being arrested for “offensive” tweets and silently praying. Was Vance speaking to the leadership, or trying to bypass our leaders and speak directly to the people? Might the electorate rise up? We see polls showing the Reform party surging. Will the UK get its own Trump-like candidate? Lots to discuss. Come join the conversation!
